Goldshell Miner Flash Tutorial

Here is the detailed Goldshell miner flash tutorial for all types of Goldshell.

Remark: Miners of all kinds can use this tutorial. In this case, let’s use Goldshell CK5.

PART1: Makek SD Card

After you receive the compressed packages (e.g. IBSMK Setup 1.8.5 rar. Figure 1) and the Goldshell firmware (e.g. Please unzip this file-CK5-2.1.4Shown as Fig.2)

1. IBSMK Setup 1.8.5 must be extracted before installation. and open it. (Shown as Fig.3)

2. Set up a card reader and an SD card that is larger than 4GB (Fig. 4), and then format the card. (Recall to transfer and save the current files to the SD card.)

3. SD cards should be inserted into USB ports on computers. Ensure there aren’t any additional storage options in the computer, such as U disks or SD cards. As soon as the SD card connects successfully, the software will read the pertinent data. (Fig.5)

4. Click “select file” and upload the firmware, then Don’t close the software or remove the SD card while the burning process is in progress. (Shown as Figs. 6 and 7). The procedure is finished once it reaches 100. And then close the firmware and pull out the SD card.

PART 2: Insert the SD Card into the Miner

1. Place the SD card in the slot next to the indicator light while the device is off but with the network cable connected.

2. The red and green lights will flash together for 90 seconds after you turn the device on.

3. Wait until the light is only green, which indicates that the burning process is essentially finished. The miner will restart itself after you remove the SD card. When the green light is flashing again, it means the miner is in working order.

Press the SD card, then pull it out. During the procedure, make sure the power is on. Should this occur, you must repeat each step.
