Goldshell HS5 Firmware

Download the newest Goldshell Official firmware – Goldshell HS5 firmware now.

GoldShell recently updated the firmware of the GoldShell HS5 miner.

With the new firmware version, all hns-series miners will support mining Handshake(HNS) OR Siacoin(SC).
When mining SC, the hashrate will double and the power consumption will be only half as normal.

*No need to upgrade the firmware if everything is fine.

*Warning! Do not turn off the power and operate the miner when starting the firmware upgrade.

How to Upgrade Goldshell HS5 Firmware

  • Unlock your Goldshell miner.
  • The miner will begin the firmware upgrade automatically if you go to the [System] page, choose and upload the new firmware file into the upgrade firmware path, and then click the [Update] button.

Pool and network settings will remain in place after the upgrade is finished.

It will take five minutes to update the firmware. During this time, make sure the network is active and avoid turning the power off.

*Note:If you don’t encounter any problems, we encourage you to use old firmware.

FAQs

Is a firmware upgrade necessary?

No. If your miner is working normally, the firmware upgrade isn’t necessary.

Is there a firmware that can increase or lower the fan RPM?

There is no way to manually change the fan speed at present; in fact, the fan speed is automatically adjusted according to the miner’s temperature.

Where can I find the history versions of firmware?

After an upgrade, if the miner doesn’t work normally, what should I do?

  1. You can try to downgrade to its original version. Check the history versions of firmware above.
  2. If the downgrade doesn’t work, please consult the seller to get this resolved.

Can I update the firmware of MINI DOGE to MINI DOGE PRO and make it work like a MINI DOGE PRO?

No, there is no way to change the miner type through firmware. Burning the firmware will not make it another miner.
